The interview which originated in Mexico concerned national and international law; sexuality; and why there have not been more judges both in common law and civil law countries, who are open about their sexuality; and the extent to which denying inherent freedoms in personal relationships may sometimes affect the attitudes of judges and lawyers towards minorities and their fundamental rights to equality and dignity.
