Michael Kirby & Paul Kelly - Launch of the new Book "The Menzies Ascendency"

This book is one of four publications of the Menzies Institute tracing the remarkable and unique career of Robert Gordon Menzies, the longest serving Prime Minster of the Commonwealth of Australia.

The launch was performed in Sydney under the auspices of the Sydney Institute.  There were addresses by two contributors to the latest (third) book in the Menzies series.  The Hon. Michael Kirby wrote the Foreword to the book describing his life as a boy and young man growing up in the Menzies era.  The other launcher is Paul Kelly, Editor at Large ofThe Australian newspaper and respected expert on politics and government in Australia.  The launch took place at the offices of Herbert Smith Freehills, lawyers in Sydney on Monday 3 February 2025.  The speakers at the launch included Michael Kirby, Paul Kelly, Anne Henderson and Zachary Gorman.
