Mercy: An exploration of justice and the law inspired by Shakespeare's "The Merchant of Venice"

This is a record of an event filmed  in the Festival of Dangerous Ideas at the Sydney Opera House on Sunday 4 October 2016 on the topic of ‘’The Quality of Mercy’’. A meditation on Shakespeare’s play ‘’The Merchant of Venice’’. The participants in the discussion  include John Bell and the Bell Shakespeare Company, Professor Germaine Greer and The  Hon Michael Kirby.
