This is a translation of an interview conducted by the Voice of America given on Michael Kirby (Australia), interviewed by William YK Kim of VOA. The interview deals with the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the UN Human Rights Council of the Commission of Inquiry of Human Rights Violations in North Korea (COI). Michael Kirby chaired the COI. The COI report drew strong support in the United Nations. The celebration of COI’s 10th anniversary will be an important anniversary during 2023-4.
